Former LPBA player Cha Yoo-ram continues her relationship with billiards as a PBA PR ambassador.

The Professional Billiards Association (PBA) announced on the 2nd that it had an appointment ceremony at the PBA office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 31st of last month and appointed Cha Yoo-ram as its PR ambassador.

In the future, Cha Yoo-ram will participate as an ambassador for official events related to the PBA-LPBA tour, promotional activities, and events held by the PBA.

In particular, as a member of the ‘PBA Stadium Promotion Committee’, he decided to contribute to the construction of a purpose-built stadium.

As a pocketball player, Cha Yu-ram became a star by participating in the 2006 Doha Asian Games and the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games as a national representative.

Subsequently, to coincide with the launch of the PBA professional billiards in 2019, he debuted as an ambassador and player of the LPBA and switched to a 3-cushion event.

In the PBA team league, he joined the Welcome Savings Bank and helped win the league championship and the regular postseason in the 2020-2021 season, and the following year.

In the individual journey, he has been active as a player representing LPBA, such as reaching the quarter-finals of the NH Nonghyup Card Championship in the 2021-2022 season.

Before last season, he joined the power of the people and announced his entry into politics, announcing his retirement as a player, and continuing his relationship with the appointment of this PR ambassador.

Public Relations Ambassador Cha Yoo-ram said, “As a former billiards player, I feel proud that the professional billiards world tour has been making remarkable progress since its launch in Korea.

We will do our best to establish a dedicated stadium so that professional billiards can develop in the future.”
