Chaeyoung, a member of Twice who became the subject of rumors for wearing a T-shirt with a Nazi pattern on it, apologized via social media.

Chaeyoung posted an apology in Korean and English on Instagram on the 22nd. Chaeyoung said, “I apologize for the Instagram post,” and “I didn’t properly recognize the slanted swastika inside the shirt I was wearing.

He said, “I’m really sorry for causing worry to many people by failing to confirm this even though I should have looked carefully.”

Previously, Chaeyoung shared a picture of her daily life on Instagram, but it caused controversy because the T-shirt had a Hakenkreuz pattern engraved on it.

Chaeyoung acknowledged the mistake and apologized after deleting the post. The agency JYP Entertainment also said, “I feel responsible for not confirming this even though the agency should have looked closer. In the future, we will be very careful so that this situation never happens again.”
