Charles Leclerc of Ferrari F1 finished the final of the 2021 F1 Round 8 Styrian Grand Prix in 7th place.
Charles Leclerc, who started from the 7th grid, damaged the front wing in a battle with Pierre Guthrie on the opening lap. We made a pit stop and reached the second lap at the end.
From there, he showed great performance and overtaked in rapid succession. It was different from the previous F1 French GP and showed excellent race pace.
“It’s a bittersweet feeling,” says Charles Leclerc.
“I was inferior in the incident on the first lap. It’s a shame because I had a chance to get better results.”
“From the second lap onwards, I can rank one of the best races so far in F1. The feel of the car was great and the pace was good. I was able to take every opportunity to recover powerfully.”
“I think I was able to get the most out of the car when it comes to performance. It shows how much work is being done behind the scenes, especially what the team did last week. Do the same next week. To be repeatable, we need to look at all the data to understand exactly how we accomplished this step. “
