According to foreign media on the 3rd (local time), Munger said at a financial conference in Sydney, Australia that the current market is overvalued.
He noted that the current financial and market environment is generally “crazy” than it was in the early 2000s, when the dot-com bubble burst and investors suffered significant losses.
Munger said that cryptocurrencies should not have been invented, and that the Chinese government’s banning of cryptocurrencies was the right decision.
He also said that English-speaking countries have gone the wrong way in supporting technology development, adding that he, as an investor, has no intention of participating in the booming cryptocurrency market.
