From about 1:30 this afternoon, a hail with a diameter of about 1 cm has been falling in the metropolitan area and the Gangwon area.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that it received reports of hail in the metropolitan area such as Seoul and Gyeonggi this afternoon, as well as in Cheorwon, Gangwon.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration explained that hail was observed along with rain in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do and northern Yeongseo, Gangwon-do.
So far, no hail damage has been reported to fire authorities.
