Implementation of ‘Happy Brain Youth (Nami)’ dementia prevention class

[파이낸셜경제=김영란 기자] Dementia Relief Center Cheongju Seowon Public Health Center Nami Branch announced on the 14th that it will operate the ‘Happy Brain Youth (Nami)’ dementia prevention class until March 31st.

Dementia Prevention Class ‘Happy Brain Youth (Nami)’ is a program to help prevent dementia by identifying risk factors for dementia and carrying out health checks, cognitive therapy and manual therapy for seniors aged 60 or over.

If you have trouble using the Dementia Care Center due to inconvenient transportation, the Nami Branch Office runs this service to ease residents’ inconvenience and increase accessibility.

It is intended to be implemented once a week on every Friday for a total of 10 sessions.

An official from the Dementia Care Center at Seowon Public Health Center said, “We will continue to provide various dementia prevention services to improve the quality of life of local residents and do our best to reduce the number of dementia cases.”
