Earlier, Xinhua news agency reported that China has allocated a COVID-19 vaccine to 50 African countries. and the African Union Commission (AU) totaling over 1,700 million doses as of Nov 12, 2021.

The white paper “China and Africa in the New Era: A Partnership of Equal” states that China has allocated a vaccine against COVID-19. to more than 110 countries and international organizations, totaling more than 1,700 million doses

China has also donated $100 million (about 3,350 million baht) to the COVAX project and donated vaccines to developing countries. This includes another 100 million doses of African countries.

Chinese conglomerates continue to cooperate in vaccine production with local African companies. as well as helping African countries achieve their goals of producing local vaccines according to their needs.

China and the United States compete to expand influence?
