China cuts quarantine for inbound travelers to 7 days, stays at home for 3 days

China has revised the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) control regulations, requiring people with close contact with COVID-19 patients. All incoming travelers will be quarantined under medical observation at designated locations for seven days, followed by three days of health monitoring at home.

The revised protocol states that China will increase the frequency of nucleic acid testing on people with a history of direct contact with travelers, goods and the inbound environment to one daily.
