China-made large unmanned transport aircraft succeeded in first flight in 27 minutes

China successfully flew its first large unmanned transport aircraft.

Local media such as Gwangmyeong Network reported this on the 19th. China Aviation Industry Corporation announced that the unmanned transport aircraft TP500 took off at 6:18 a.m. the previous day and flew for 27 minutes, landing at 6:45 a.m., and successfully succeeded in its first flight.

This aircraft is said to have a standard payload of 500 kg and can transport cargo unmanned within a radius of 500 km, and the maximum flight distance is said to reach 1800 km.

Guangmyeongang explained that this aircraft is the first large unmanned transport aircraft researched and developed to meet the needs of China’s civil aviation.
