China sends new satellite ‘Tianxing-1’ into space

Xinhua news agency reported on June 22 that Kwaizhou-1A carrier rocket (Kuaizhou-1A) took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China. The Tianxing-1 test satellite was carried into space at 10.08 a.m. Wednesday (June 22) Beijing time. and successfully entered the designated orbit

The report said the satellite will primarily perform test missions, such as monitoring the space environment.

The center said the satellite launch was the 15th mission of the Kaizhou-1A carrier rocket.
