[Reuters]–China has announced that it will ease immigration restrictions for US citizens and allow entry through third countries. The Chinese Embassy in Washington issued a notice on the 1st.

If a US citizen wishes to enter China and the new coronavirus test is negative, he or she can apply for and obtain a Green Health Code for entry from the United States or a third country. Previously, this code was given only to US citizens entering directly from the United States.

Due to the limited number of direct flights from the United States to China, ticket prices were as high as $ 10,000.

China has recently relaxed similar restrictions on citizens of other countries.
