China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it has lodged solemn representations with the United States in response to the investigation, investigation, and identification of Communist Party members by the United States on Chinese personnel visiting the United States | Reuters

Reuters, Beijing, November 30-In response to the U.S. inquiry and investigation of Chinese personnel in the U.S. to identify Communist Party members, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Monday that it had lodged solemn representations with the U.S. to stop relevant wrongful acts, stop ideological confrontations, and stop Unreasonable suppression of China.

“If the US continues to escalate its provocative behavior, China will take countermeasures.” Hua Chunying said at a regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She said that this is another manifestation of McCarthyism and US anti-China forces’ comprehensive containment and suppression of China. Going against the trend of historical development, it also does not conform to the aspirations of the people of China and the United States for friendly exchanges.

According to a previous report by China Daily, as of November 11, a total of 21 Chinese ships were raided by the United States when they were docked at US ports; since September, the crew of 16 Chinese airlines to the US have been questioned and interrogated.

It is reported that the US interrogation sometimes lasts for several hours, repeatedly struggling with the identity of the Communist Party, and even the reasons for joining the party. (Finish)
