An incident occurred in which an elementary school girl in China seriously damaged a luxury foreign car parked in an apartment parking lot through a serious prank. However, the parents of elementary school students refused to pay compensation to the victims, causing controversy.
According to local media reports on the 21st, it was reported that an elementary school student in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, drew a picture with a knife on a luxury foreign car parked in the parking lot of an apartment building, got on the car, and stepped on the windshield and smashed it.
The car damaged by Miss A is a BMW company and is known to be sold for around 1 million yuan (about 170 million won). After discovering that his vehicle was damaged, Mr. B, the owner of the vehicle, checked the nearby CCTV and caught the crime scene of Miss A.
In the video recorded on CCTV in the parking lot, Miss A found a yellow BMW on the way to the parking lot on a kickboard on the day of the incident and approached the car. After that, he got into the car and started to damage the car with the knife and ballpoint pen he had. He was also kicked with his feet.
Owner B said, “At the time, I contacted Miss A’s parents, but they shouted loudly that the claim that their daughter broke the windshield of the car was a blatant lie.” “How did an 11-year-old girl damage the windshield?” Do you have the strength to do it?” he asked.
B discussed compensation with A’s parents based on the CCTV footage. However, Ms. A’s parents said, “Aren’t you going to have children later?” and said, “At that time, you can bring your child and break my car glass. I can’t pay you back.”
In the case of Miss A, as it is difficult to punish as a child under the age of 14, it is known that Zhao will file a lawsuit claiming tens of millions of won from his parents.
