Man Arrested for Stabbing Chinese Woman at Lamb Skewer Restaurant in South Gyeonggi

SIHEUNG, South Gyeonggi – A Chinese man in his 40s has been apprehended by the Siheung Police Station after allegedly stabbing a Chinese woman in her 40s at a lamb skewer restaurant. The incident took place in Wolgot-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the suspect was captured by law enforcement three hours later.
The suspect, identified as Mr. A, was arrested on the 4th of September and is currently under investigation for murder charges, as confirmed by the police. The victim, Mr. B, a Chinese restaurant owner in his 40s, tragically lost his life due to the stabbing that occurred around 5:30 pm on the same day.
Following the crime, Mr. A fled the scene, but his escape was short-lived. Mr. B’s husband promptly reported the incident, leading to Mr. A being taken to the hospital by ambulance. Unfortunately, Mr. B succumbed to his injuries.
Thanks to CCTV footage analysis and witness testimonies, the police were able to track down and apprehend Mr. A at a karaoke room in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung, around 8:50 pm on the day of the incident.
Once the investigation into the motive behind the crime is concluded, the police plan to seek an arrest warrant for Mr. A. The Siheung Police Station is determined to bring justice to this grim event.

According to the police on the 4th, Siheung Police Station arrested and investigated Mr A in his 40s on suspicion of murder that day.
Mr A is suspected of stabbing and killing Mr. B, a Chinese owner in his 40s who runs a lamb skewer restaurant in Wolgot-dong, at about 5:30pm on the same day.
Mr. ran away after the crime and was taken to hospital by ambulance after Mr B’s husband reported, but he eventually died.
The police tracked Mr A against CCTV video analysis and witnesses, and arrested Mr A at a karaoke room in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung at around 8:50pm on the same day.
The police intend to apply for an arrest warrant against Mr A as soon as the investigation into the motive for the crime has been completed.
