On the 14th, the Choi Dong-won Memorial Foundation and Lotte Giants will hold an event to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the late Dong-won Choi.
The Choi Dong and Lotte Memorial Society announced on the 12th that they would hold an event for the late Choi Dong-win’s 11th birthday in front of the statue of Choi Dong-win at the Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium from 3 pm on the 14th.
To commemorate Dong-won Choi’s 11th birthday and the deceased’s number 11, the business association decided to title the event ‘Come see Dong-won Choi!’ The business association said it was a film about the struggle, dedication and sacrifice of the deceased in front of the statue of Dong-won Choi. to screen Along with the screening of the film, Kim Yong-cheol, ‘4th hitter Lotte’, will personally attend and remember the 1984 Korean series.
Before the match against SSG Landers, the Lotte Club screens a video commemorating Choi Dong-win through an electronic board. Afterwards, the deceased will be remembered through a period of silence with the team and the spectators. The children’s team of Choi Dong-won’s baseball class sings the national anthem.
Choi Dong-won’s mother, Kim Jeong-ja, will perform the special pitch for the day. To commemorate the event, the team attaches a commemorative patch with the number 11 on the back of Dong-won Choi and ‘LEGEND’, which means the eternal legend of the club, Dong-won Choi, on the uniform and goes to the game.
