Choi Hee reveals her half-face paralyzed at the time of hospitalization “More pain than childbirth”

[스포츠서울 | 박효실기자] Broadcaster Choi Hee, who reported that he was rehabilitating from facial paralysis, shared his current situation through a video filmed at the hospital at the time of his sudden battle with the disease.

On the 9th, Choi Hee revealed the process from sudden onset to hospitalization and discharge through her personal YouTube channel ‘Choi Hee Log’.

He said, “Herpes zoster is a very scary disease. If the virus spreads to the brain, it is really dangerous, but I had to be hospitalized because the disease progressed until just before that.”

Choi Hee went to the emergency room with severe pain around the 20th of last month, was hospitalized with shingles, and is currently on leave for rehabilitation.

He said, “I felt extreme pain worse than childbirth, and later found out that it was shingles and was admitted to the hospital, but how frightening and painful it was.

Choi Hee suffered from shingles, which spread to the ear and invaded nerves, paralyzing half of her face. In her published video, Choi Hee was shocked, including her right eye, cheek, and her lips moving so that she couldn’t close her eyes, and her mouth was crooked while eating.

He complained of pain on his right face, which was not moving at will, saying, “Close my eyes and my mouth.” He said, “I want to laugh so much, but I can’t smile. I will do my best until the day we meet with a smile.”

Choi Hee, who was recently discharged from the hospital, is receiving outpatient treatment and is trying to recover.
