Kim Su-jin (24, Department of Fashion Design, Keimyung University, Gyeongbuk) and Min-su Choi (22, Incheon, Gyeonggi-do, Department of Communication, University of Illinois, U.S.) were awarded the Sun (善) award. Jeong Do-hee (22, Seoul Dongduk Women’s University Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment) and Jo Min-ji (23, Jeju-Ewha Women’s University Department of Economics) took the beauty category.

The ‘2021 Miss Korea Contest’ was hosted by Lee Seung-guk, a broadcaster, and Jeong Da-hye, the 2017 Miss Korea winner.

The competition was held without spectators and pre-recorded. A fashion show of 40 finalists, dress walking, and singer Ailee’s celebration stage were held.

The Miss Korea pageant is changing according to the times, such as abolition of swimsuit judging from 2019. This year, the camp was omitted to reflect the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic.
