Clashes in Afghanistan: Hundreds of Taliban militants killed

Kabul: At least 100 Taliban militants have been killed in clashes with Afghan forces, the Afghan Defense Ministry has said.

With the Afghan army based on the Khama Press report (Afghan Force) Hundreds of militants were killed and more than 50 were injured in the clashes. In addition, a large number of weapons were seized from them and some were destroyed.

Clashes have been reported in Lakhman, Kunar, Nangarhar, Qasni, Paktia, Maidan Vardak, Khost, Zabul, Badgis, Hirat, Fryab and Baghlan provinces for the past 24 hours.

The Khaama Press reports that the Taliban have planted 35 mines in various locations, all of which have been defused by Afghan forces.
