The 26-year-old young professional made his last dispatch on the current situation in Chile in the Davis Cup and the Rugby World Cup.
During the day this Monday the death of the young man was confirmed sports journalist Carlos Rudloff Sazo, 26 years old. Although the cause of his death has not been made public, the national football media, as well as the press, have mourned his death.
Until these last few days, the reporter had been covering current events at the Catholic University for the Agriculture radio and disciplines such as rugby and tennis, especially the Chilean Davis Cup team this week. In fact, his last dispatch for the station was on Saturday, September 16.
“We just want to let you know that ‘Carlitos’, as his colleagues called him, was light and joy in the sports office. A correct and educated young man, a good companion and with good feelings. Very hardworking, extremely good worker. He didn’t understand schedules or days off. He had to be asked to please take his rest days and weekends off. But his reasons were purely professional, for wanting to have the information from the first source and make the full display,” reads a fragment of the letter published by Agriculture.
