Thiruvanchoor’s reply to Chennithala; ‘Do not hide behind Oommen Chandy; I will have to repent for what I said ‘

Former Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala addressed a rally at the DCC venue in Kottayam yesterday. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan was not ready for a direct setback in that arena. One day later, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan was directly attacking Ramesh Chennithala. In response to a question from media persons in Kottayam, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan openly said that Chennithala would have to repent for what he said.

There is no problem in ignoring Oommen Chandy. No one should argue about that. The entire leadership and workers in Kerala will have the same opinion in this regard. However, in response to a question about Ramesh Chennithala’s statement, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan said that no one should take a stand behind Oommen Chandy.

Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has openly said that the response made by Ramesh Chennithala in Kottayam DCC yesterday violates all boundaries. Every party has a limit to respond. I’m not going overboard. Action that hurts the minds of activists should not be on the part of leaders. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan openly said that he could not accept anything said yesterday in the name of Oommen Chandy.

Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan does not hesitate to praise Oommen Chandy even as he prepares for a direct attack on Ramesh Chennithala. I do not believe that Chennithala preached yesterday knowing Oommen Chandy. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan warns that it is not because no one has a tongue or a word that he does not say more.

Yesterday’s ceremony was a fresh start. Where there is encouragement instead of talking in this form is where to go and stay. Let there be an end to this. Thiruvanchoor also asks if the new leadership needs to create the conditions to work. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan opined that instead of blindfolding and throwing stones, it is not necessary. Thiruvanchoor says that was the opinion of most of the people there. He also said that those who come to put out the fire should not light torches.

Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan fully supports the Congress state leadership even when he denies Ramesh Chennithala. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan said that he fully agrees with the statement made by the Leader of the Opposition. Such places should not be turned into venues for riots. In the beginning, there should not have been a situation of stone-throwing.
Not even a small child gathered there would want such a situation. Thiruvanchoor also asks if it is right to put a situation on their head that they do not want.

Thiruvanchoor replies anonymously that it is up to Chennithala to decide. At a time when the Congress is so weak, it is still a challenge to the workers to harbor resentment. Thiruvanchoor said that he has full faith in the High Command and the present state leadership. They are capable of solving the problem. I do not believe that Oommen Chandy will take a malicious stand.

I saw the work of Oommen Chandy from a young age. I was the one who had the upper hand in group work. The party had good power then. Even if the group was active then, the party would not have had a big problem. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan clarified that Oommen Chandy is a great leader and I will not drag him into this controversy. He also said that he did not want to make Oommen Chandy an item for publicity.
