Kollam: A student was killed when his bike collided with a car on the National Highway between Chengamanadi and Chettadi. Vijayan’s son BM at Vasantha Nilayam at Keralapuram Mandapam Junction. The deceased have been identified as Govind (20), daughter of Ajayakumar and Chaitanya (20) of Kanhangad Chaitanya, Kasargod.
The incident took place at 10 last night. Govind died on the spot. Chaitanya was rushed to a private hospital in Kottarakkara with serious injuries. Chaitanya died there.
The accident took place when the two engineering college students from Thiruvananthapuram were returning from Thenmala with their friends who arrived in 5 bikes. All three occupants of the car were injured. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Kottarakkara.
