Communal tensions escalated between Kovid; Cases doubled | Communal Rioting | Doubled In 2020

New Delhi: Despite the Kovid crisis, communal riots are on the rise in the country. According to the National Crime Records Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the number of cases related to religious, communal and communal riots has doubled in 2020 compared to 2019.

In 2020, 71,107 cases were reported in connection with activities that could disrupt law and order in the country. In 2019, it was 63,262. By 2020, the growth in cases will be 12.4 percent. Of these, 2188 cases were reported to have caused serious problems.
