Conflict in Kollam: SFI district leader hacked, three BJP workers injured

Kollam: A clash broke out between SFI activists and BJP activists at Kadakkal in Kollam district. The incident took place in front of Kadaikkal SHM College. Four people were injured in the clash. Zafar, an SFI district committee member, had his hand cut off. All three BJP workers were rushed to hospital with head injuries.

SFI alleges that BJP activists violated Kovid norms and conducted Ayudha Pooja in the college. The students alleged that BJP activists attacked them for questioning. The BJP alleges that armed SFI activists attacked without provocation. The situation was calmed down by the police. Huge police warm-up continues in the area.
