Congress rare in dropout; Sivadasan Nair’s suspension lifted Kerala | Deshabhimani

Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress has withdrawn the suspension of K Sivadasan Nair, who was reluctant to leave the party, including senior leaders. Sivadasan Nair was suspended for breach of discipline. K Sudhakaran explained that the suspension was withdrawn because of the satisfactory response to the KPCC notice.

The Congress has taken action against Sivadasan Nair for supporting KP Anilkumar’s harsh criticism of the channel over the list of DCC presidents. K Sivadasan Nair opined that it was not possible to revive the Congress in Kerala with a single formula of keeping the likes of the KPCC president, the Leader of the Opposition and the four working presidents. Shortly afterwards, the Congress announced action against Anil Kumar and Sivadasan Nair.
