[스포츠서울 | 이주상기자] UFC superstar Conor McGregor (33), who was criticized by fans for throwing an iron man into the squad bus and assaulting an old man, was accused of assaulting a famous DJ in Italy.

Last week McGregor visited Rome, Italy, with his family on vacation. The person who was punched by McGregor in a cafe in Rome was singer and DJ Francesco Pacinetti. “McGregor punched me in the face for no reason,” Pacinetti said. His nose was broken and he was devastated. I have sued McGregor,” he told Italian sports media Pro Sports Extra.

Pacinetti’s wife, Wilma Helena Faisol, who witnessed the scene, said: “Suddenly, McGregor punched Francesco in the face. He didn’t get a hit because Francesco was close to McGregor, but he fell to the floor and his face was bleeding. At first I thought it was a joke. To the general public, a fighter’s fist is like a weapon,” he said at the time.

McGregor has yet to make an official statement. McGregor did not boil the noise, beating an old man in a bar or kicking a fan asking for an autograph. Last September, he had a fist fight with rapper Machine Gun Kelly at the MTV Video Music Awards held in New York, USA.
