In response, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other Sangh Parivar organizations have staged widespread protests. The BJP submitted a letter to Governor RN Ravi, urging him to take criminal action against the minister. A supporter of the Sangh Parivar from Uttar Pradesh, Paramahamsa Acharya, announced a reward of Rs 10 crore for anyone who eliminates Udayanidhi. This announcement came after a photograph of the minister was burned while tied to a sword. Considering the heightened threat, the minister’s security has been intensified, with additional police personnel deployed at his Chennai residence.
