Controversy over poor response to Incheon knife riot, police unable to receive on-site training… “Because of Corona”

It has been found that the police officers who caused controversy over poor response at the time of the ‘Knife riot in inter-floor noise’ in Incheon did not receive any on-site response training after the Corona 19 incident.

According to Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station, Police Officer A and Inspector B belonging to a certain district in Nonhyeon-seo completed all online physical force response training for 2 hours every month after the Corona 19 incident.

This training, which began in the second half of last year, educates police officers on arrest and self-defense techniques, shooting techniques, and how to use a taser gun so that they can respond appropriately to the situation when they are dispatched to the scene.

If it was originally, personnel should be convened at each police station or local police agency and then trained in auditoriums and gymnasiums, but in the aftermath of Corona 19, all education has been replaced online.

Because of this, it is said that Police Officer A has never received physical force response training after being deployed to the field.
