Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni popularized the ‘helicopter shot’ in the world of cricket. It has now launched a quadcopter consumer camera drone called ‘Droney’. The drone, which comes with great features, was launched at an event held in Chennai. Made in India drone camera with advanced features is manufactured by MS Dhoni’s brand ambassador, Garuda Aerospace. He also has an investment in the company.
Garuda Aerospace has now created a niche for itself in the country by offering ‘drone solutions’ for agricultural spraying, solar panel cleaning, industrial pipeline inspections, mapping, surveying, public announcements and delivery services. Now a new consumer drone called Drone has come to the market. The company’s founder and CEO Agneeshwar Jayaprakash said that the product will be available in the market by the end of 2022.
A quadcopter drone is made for photography and videography. The drone will have a 20-megapixel camera, visual line of sight (VLOS) up to three kilometers, and anti-jamming systems.
The event in Chennai also witnessed the launch of a new ‘Kisan Drone’ targeting the agriculture sector. This battery-powered drone can spray agricultural pesticides on 30 acres of land per day.
