Coronation in May; A decline in the popularity of the royal family

London – As the coronation of King Charles is about to happen, the popularity of the British royal family has probably decreased. The number of people following the royal family’s social media account has dropped dramatically. The coronation will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey.

The Buckingham Palace Instagram account shares official news of King Charles and the royal family. The account’s followers dropped from 13 million to 12.9 million this week. One section takes this as a sign that the number of followers is at least decreasing as the coronation ceremony approaches. So far more than 4100 posts have been shared through this account.
