Covid – 19: Two more Covids killed in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Slight increase in the number of covid deaths in Saudi Arabia. For some time, the daily death toll had shrunk to one. But today, two deaths due to Kovid were reported across the country. Meanwhile, 29 new cases of Kovid infection have been confirmed. The Ministry of Health said that 40 patients have recovered (covid recoveries).

A total of 31,055,094 PCR tests were conducted in the country. The total number of reported cases was 549,671. Of these, 538,824 recovered. A total of 8,832 people died. Currently, 2,015 people are in treatment. Of these, 44 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory. The country’s covid liberation rate remains at 98 percent and the death rate at 1.6 percent.

So far, 47,278,830 doses of the vaccine have been injected across the country. Of these, 24,572,011 were the first dose. 22,361,856 per second dose. 1,717,720 doses were given to the elderly. The booster dose was given to 344,963 people. Number of newly reported patients in different parts of the country: Riyadh – 11, Jeddah – 7, Madinah – 2, Mecca – 2, and seven other places each.
