Jeddah: The number of new covid patients has increased again in Saudi Arabia. 109 new patients and 77 recoveries were reported. With this, the total number of reported Covid cases in the country so far has reached 8,16,498 and the number of recoveries has reached 8,03,623. One new death was also reported.
With this, the total number of deaths in the country has risen to 9,352. Currently 3,523 people are being treated for the disease. 31 of them are in critical condition. They continue to receive treatment in the intensive care units of various hospitals in the country.
The current covid freedom rate in Saudi Arabia is 98.44 percent and the death rate is 1.14 percent. The number of newly reported cases in the main cities of the country: Riyadh 45, Jeddah 18, Madinah 8, Makkah 5, Twaif 4, Dammam 3, Najran, Khatif and Dhahran 2 each, and 20 elsewhere.
