Covid Vaccine; Kovid vaccine booster dose mandatory in Saudi

Those who take two doses of the Kovid vaccine must receive a booster dose within eight months. If the booster dose is not received within eight months of taking two doses, there will be no immune status.

Riyadh: The covid vaccine booster dose has been made mandatory in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Interior Ministry has announced that anyone over the age of 18 from February 1 next year will be required to take a booster dose, otherwise the Tawakkalna application will have no immune status.

Those who take two doses of the Kovid vaccine must receive a booster dose within eight months. If the booster dose is not received within eight months of taking two doses, there will be no immune status. The booster dose should be given to those who have completed six or more months after taking two doses, six months after the procedure, depending on the risk of lowering the level of antibodies in the blood. From February 1, 2022, those who do not receive the booster dose will be barred from entering commercial, sports, cultural, public events, government and private institutions, and by air or public transport.
