Dubai: The UAE has banned Iftar tents in the wake of rising Kovid. The UAE has suspended it for the past two years. But this year Ramadan was allowed to open tents. The inside of the tent should be at least one meter away from each other. It should be constructed in such a way that it is open from all sides. It should be in air conditioned form.

The authorities should be informed in advance which part is being opened. Guidelines have been issued for the preparation of food for Iftar. Sweets and food will be allowed on display in the tents. Bakeries and cafeterias must obtain permission from the Sharjah Municipality in this regard. Food can be displayed on non-sandy areas and sidewalks.

In addition, many facilities have been prepared to welcome Ramadan. Parking is available near the mosque for those attending the Taraweeh prayers. Parking at these places will be free during prayers. Parking fees will be charged during non-stop hours. Strong action will be taken if there is a situation where other vehicles are disturbed in the parking lot. Permits have been issued for shops selling food during the day during Ramadan. Food can also be sold at licensed shopping malls. However, meals are not allowed in hotels and restaurants.
