Covids today infected 4,000 people, the southern region is still ranked first of many provinces

On December 6, 2021, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Situation Administration (CCSA) reported the situation of COVID-19 cases in Thailand with the following details:

4,000 infected in the country
27 infected in prisons/detention centers
7 foreign infections
6,450 more healed
2,055,265 cumulative recoveries (since 2020)

69,010 cases are being treated, comprising 33,850 in hospitals, 35,160 in field hospitals and others, of which 1,259 are in severe condition, 330 are on a ventilator.

22 additional deaths
Cumulative death toll 20,966 (since 2020)

The total number of confirmed cases since 2020 is 2,145,241.

Thailand is ranked 24th in the world.

For 4,000 new infected people, they are divided as follows:

3,811 new cases from surveillance and service systems
Proactively search for 155 community infected people.
Prisons/prisoners 27 people
7 foreign visitors

As of today, 62,087 ATK tests have been carried out, with 1,113 of them being infected, not including the number of new cases confirmed with RT-PCR.

The top 10 provinces with the most cumulative infections are Bangkok 782, Nakhon Si Thammarat 333, Songkhla 221, Chonburi 150, Surat Thani 144, Pattani 108, Chiang Mai 96, Prachuap Khiri Khan 95, Samut Prakan and Phatthalung, 89 each.
