Our society considers crying people as vulnerable. If a girl cries, people will sympathize with her. But, if a boy cries, alas you are a boy, forbidding boys to cry. That is why men and women are reluctant to open up about their grief. However, if we live in such a state of tears, then we will have serious mental problems.

Meanwhile, the Spanish government is trying to find a solution. Concerned about the mental health of the people, Spain recently launched a new program called ‘Crying Room’ in the country. If someone is upset, they can go into this crying room if they can not say it out loud. You can sit there alone and open your mind and cry. Thus the weight of the mind can be reduced. We can call and talk to anyone on the phone placed there.

One week ago, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced a mental health care plan. The $ 116 million project also includes services such as a 24-hour suicide prevention helpline. “This is not a bad thing. It’s a matter of public health. We need to talk about it and act on it,” he said when the project began.

The project was launched on October 10, World Mental Health Day. The Crying Room is located in Central Madrid. In 2019, 3,671 people committed suicide in Spain. According to government figures, one in 10 teens suffers from mental illness and 5.8% of the total population suffers from anxiety. Therefore, he said, such a plan is necessary there.
