crocodile farms where biting crocodiles are bred; Target Meat – Profitable Crocodile Farming Market

There are farms in Kenya that only breed crocodiles, which are biting monsters. The critically endangered Nile crocodiles are raised for meat in these farms. Nile crocodiles are the largest crocodiles in Africa. They are responsible for the death of at least 100 people a year, although no precise figures are available. But farms in Kenya have turned these crocodiles into money trees. One or two lakh crocodiles do not grow in such farms.

About 33,000 crocodiles are bred on Kenya’s largest farm alone. Crocodile meat, which is white in color and tastes like chicken, is in high demand in China. The main source of income for the farms is the export of meat to China. Farms are guaranteed a 100 percent profit from this alone. Apart from this, there is profit from the export of crocodile skin. Products made from crocodile skin, including shoes and bags, are also in high demand in the international market.

Crocodiles are kept in large tanks built inside enclosed enclosures. There can be up to 100 crocodiles inside a wall. Only crocodiles over the age of eight are killed for meat. An average of 3-4 crocodiles are killed a day. There is a special system here to collect and hatch crocodile eggs. Crocodile breeding is not very safe although it is profitable. If care is not taken, the lives of the farm workers will be at risk. Strict restrictions have been placed on the workers such as not turning your back to the bosses and not using mobile phones inside the walls. Yet this year 4 workers were killed in crocodile attacks on different farms. Crocodile farms are active not only in Kenya but also in Zambia and Zimbabwe. A year-on-year growth of 22 per cent is recorded in this area. After China, Taiwan and the Middle East have the highest demand for crocodile meat.
