Crown success is unpredictable -Jill Ellis | Crown success is unpredictable – Jill Ellis

Doha: Former American women’s team coach Jill Ellis said the Qatar World Cup will be better than previous World Cups in terms of organization and quality of play. Prominent teams such as France and Brazil compete in Qatar. Qatar will surely be a very competitive World Cup. She was speaking at the Aspire Academy Global Summit panel discussion, which can be described as an eventful World Cup.

Ellis, who led the United States to the World Cup in 2015 and 2019, also won the FIFA Coach of the Year award in the same years. “The depth of each team is very important. I know the coach’s mind well. 10 days of preparation to assemble a team is very difficult. Along with that, player suspensions and injuries must be dealt with. A team with more depth has a better chance of winning. But it is difficult to choose the favorites for the crown in Qatar – says Jill Ellis.

Every coach comes from a different place. The season in America is coming to an end. Meanwhile, elsewhere the season is in full swing. Each player must be understood very closely. Some ask for more rest.

Others want to improve performance. “This is only possible when you understand your team better,” he told the coaches. Jill Ellis is currently the coach of Santiago Wave Football Club.

This World Cup is very special for the Qatar team. The tournament being held in their own country is to their advantage, and the best factor is the full support of their countrymen, added Ellis.
