Cape Town: The tour of South Africa (India Tour of South Africa 2021-22) has come to an end. The result was a disappointment for India, who flew to South Africa with the distinction of being the most likely team to win the inaugural Test series in the history of the Indian team. Later, the ODI series slipped out of the hands of Team India. Legendary pacer Dale Steyn has observed that the Indian team has missed a player in the Proteas. But it is not the white ball captain Rohit Sharma.

Steyn is the name of the star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who has the ability to change the outcome of a match. ‘India really missed a player like Sir Ravindra Jadeja. He is an amazing cricketer. A player who can control the game with a left-handed swipe and bat. India had some bowling problems. A pacer with a speed of 140-145 kmph was needed to support Jaspreet Bumra. Shami is a great player, but the Test series has gotten longer. “Mohammad Siraj, who looks like a future player, has been injured.”

Team India started their tour of South Africa with a Test victory at Centurion for the first time. However, India lost the next two matches 2-1. In the ODI series, they suffered a complete defeat to a relatively inexperienced South African team. KL Rahul and his team were whitewashed after losing all three matches. Coach Rahul Dravid said the loss to South Africa was a big lesson for India. But the legendary actor is giving public support to the hero KL Rahul.

The Indian team is next in a series of three ODIs and a T20I against the West Indies. Captain Rohit Sharma will return to the team. Hitman has passed a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Ravindra Jadeja is also expected to return for the series against the Windies. The first ODI will be played on February 6 in Ahmedabad. The remaining two ODIs will be played at the same ground. The 16th T20 series starts in Kolkata.
