Actress, dancer and vlogger Krishnaprabha opens her mind about the auspicious moment when she was hailed by world star Kamal Haasan who is also a great dancer. Krishnaprabha told Manorama Online that it was a rare moment in her life to receive the blessings and congratulations of the world hero during the pre-launch of the Tamil action thriller ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj and starring Kamal. Krishnaprabha and her team were present at the Vikram’s promotional event at Lulu Mall, Kochi.
Krishnaprabha talks about meeting Kamal Haasan in person and receiving his compliments:
“That dance program was a tribute to Sir Kamal Haasan. It is composed of songs from his hit movies. The dance started with the theme music of Punnagai Mannan and ended with the song Pathala Pathala from Vikram. When Kamal came on stage, the song ‘Ulaka Nayakane’ from Dashavatara was sung in an eight minute long program. He came on stage with us during that song. We also had a second entry into the event. Only the song Pathala Pathala from Vikram’s was included. He was in the audience at the time and gave good encouragement. During the program, Sunita Chechi and I went to the audience and greeted him at his feet and spoke to him. He happily blessed us and congratulated us on being a good dance team. Gone are the unforgettable days of our lives. The Lulu team invited us to that program. Thanks a lot to them. They were the ones who came up with the idea that all the dancers should dance wearing the same hoodie. Dancers used similar costumes in the song ‘Pathala’.
Anirudh Ravichandran is the music director of ‘Vikram’ which is awaited by the South Indian cinema audience. Vikram is Anirudh’s second film with Lokesh Kanakaraj after Vijay’s Master. The song ‘Pathala’ written and sung by Kamal Haasan has already hit the charts. The song Porkanda Singam has also been noticed. The other songs are written by Vishnu Idavan. Fahadh Faasil, Kalidas Jayaram, Chemban Vinod, Tamil superstars Surya and Vijay Sethupathi are starring in Vikram with Kamal Haasan.
