RIYADH: Authorities have taken action in an incident where a folk dance troupe performed a dance in front of patients at a private hospital in Saudi Arabia. One such incident occurred in Jizan province. The Jizan Health Department then formed an emergency committee to conduct a detailed investigation.
A video clip circulating on social media shows a folk dance troupe performing a dance in the dialysis room of a private hospital. Dialysis patients can also be seen in the film. After noticing this, the health department officials took action. The Jizan Health Department has announced that legal action will be taken against the hospital that did not respect the privacy of the patients and invited the dance troupe to the hospital and caused inconvenience to the patients and others. Abdurahman Al Harbi, head of the Jizan Health Department, ordered to question the hospital staff, submit the investigation report to the Jizan Health Department, and take further action based on the report.
