It is with dismay and great sadness that FOYER D’AMOUR NGO learned of the serious fatal accident that occurred on Sunday January 29, 2023 in Dassa-Zounmè in the Collines department in Benin. The toll is heavy: 22 dead and 18 Beninese in critical condition evacuated to the Abomey-Calavi area hospital and to the Hubert Koutoukou Maga National Hospital Center in Cotonou. Among the victims passed from life to death, there are a magistrate in service at the Supreme Court, former Directors of state structures, lawyers, engineers, senior executives of our ministries and state and private companies, leaders of Lions clubs etc
Faced with this deadly picture, FOYER D’AMOUR ONG offers all its condolences to the bereaved families, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured and to all the victims of trauma.
FOYER D’AMOUR NGO welcomes the prompt intervention of the government and its willingness to cover all the expenses relating to the treatment of the injured.
