Taiwan’s veteran wind and raincoat manufacturer Daxin announced today that the director and general manager Hu Boze has passed away at the age of 55. In 1966, Boze Hu graduated from Ritsumeikan University in Japan. He is the fifth son of Daxin founder Hu Jianghe. Since 2008, he has been the general manager of Daxin. At the end of 2017, he resigned on the grounds of personal career planning and was transferred to the CEO of Daxin overseas enterprises. In June this year, Daxin took over the position of general manager for the development of new customers and new business for the group’s export sales in Europe and the United States.

Daxin’s current chairman Wu Zicong is the son-in-law of the founder Hu Jianghe, and his fourth son Hu Boyi is the vice chairman. Originally, Hu Boze returned to the general manager, and the second generation succeeded to operate the Iron Triangle lineup. Now, due to Hu Boze’s death, the management team will change again.

Due to land sales in the past two years, Daxin has generated substantial non-industry profits. In 2020, it disposes of the 2593.47 square meters of land in Taichung Dayuan Baibian, and the recorded profit of the disposal exceeds 5.75 billion NT dollars. Under the non-industry investment, the annual after-tax surplus is 5.429 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) is as high as 31.97 yuan.

Daxin announced its latest financial report on the 12th. In the third quarter of this year, the revenue was 682 million yuan, the after-tax surplus was 233 million yuan, and the EPS was 1.75 yuan. The cumulative revenue for the first three quarters was 1.763 billion yuan, an annual increase of 8.16%, and an after-tax loss of 2.89 million yuan. , EPS is -0.02 yuan.
