Kannur – A number of deadly weapons, including swords, were recovered from the sack of Valakode-Muzhakkunn panchayat. Based on the confidential information received by the police, the deadly weapons were found hidden in the drain near a private person’s field during the inspection that took place on Tuesday night.
Weapons such as seven swords, a hand axe, a spear and a slate were confiscated. The weapons were kept in sacks. The weapons were taken into custody by a police team led by SI Shibu, SI Nasser Poilan and ASI Raj Nawaz. An investigation has begun.
