Decline rates of dementia across Australia: Study

There are about 10 million new cases of dementia each year, which creates a disability and physically, psychologically, socially and emotionally affect a person and their family. Alzheimer's disease is currently the most common form of dementia, affecting up to 70 per cent of all people with dementia. Other forms include vascular dementia, lewy body disease and initial dementia.
