The ruling Democratic Party’s choice was Lee Jae-myung.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee won the Seoul primary with a majority of 51.5% of the vote, but in the final ‘Superweek’, the 3rd National Electoral College, where more than 248,000 people voted, only 28.3%, lagging behind candidate Lee Nak-yeon with 62.4%.

However, with a cumulative voter turnout of 50.29%, Lee Nak-yeon, who ranked second with 39.14%, went straight to the presidential election without a runoff vote.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee declared in his acceptance speech that “this election is the ultimatum against the corrupt establishment.”

In particular, he declared that he would surely accomplish the changes and reforms demanded by the people.

Candidate Lee, who has revealed his intentions to break through the ‘Daejang-dong development suspicion’, made this promise in an interview with SBS 8 News shortly after his nomination for the presidential nomination about Yoo Dong-gyu, former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, being implicated in the Daejang-dong allegation.

It is analyzed that there are problems to be solved in front of this candidate.

As a candidate of the ruling party, you need to maximize your competitiveness in the finals against opposition candidates, and at the same time establish a strategy for attacking the middle class, including responding to suspicions of large-scale movement.

While it is known that candidate Lee is highly likely to step down from the post of governor before and after the National Assembly audit of Gyeonggi-do, candidate Lee visited the Daejeon National Cemetery today (11th) and found the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) in charge of the prevention and control of COVID-19. Start your first schedule.
