Queen Margrethe II of Denmark tested positive for COVID-19 after attending the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of England.

Reuters, dpa news agency reported on the 21st (local time) that Queen Margrethe is resting at Predensborg Palace, 30 kilometers north of Copenhagen.

The Danish royal family has canceled Queen Margrethe’s official events this week.

According to reports, Queen Margrethe was also infected with Corona 19 in February, and at the time her symptoms were mild.

Reuters reported that Queen Margrethe sat in front of the seat of foreign royals at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey in London on the 19th.

His son, Prince Frederick, and a member of the Swedish royal family sat side by side.

Meanwhile, Queen Margrethe, aged 82, is the longest-serving monarch in Europe since the death of Queen Elizabeth II. He ascended the throne in January 1972 and this year marks 50 years since his accession.
