Dhoni to continue as head; Chennai under contract | chennai Super Kings sign MS Dhoni for three more seasons

New Delhi: The Chennai Super Kings have retained Mahendra Singh Dhoni ahead of the IPL mega auction. Dhoni will be in the yellow jersey of Chennai for three more seasons. Chennai has signed a deal with Dhoni for this. Apart from Dhoni, Chennai have retained all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and opener Rituraj Gaekwad.

According to BCCI rules, each franchise can retain up to four players. There are rumors that the Chennai management has started talks with English player Moin Ali. The management hopes that Ali will benefit from the pitch at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Englishman Sam Karan is another player retained by Chennai.

Earlier, Dhoni had hinted that he would stay in Chennai. My last ODI was in Ranchi. The final Twenty20 is expected to be played in Chennai. Dhoni’s comment was that it could happen next year or five years later.
