Director Ishizaki’s Retirement – Katare Toyama Official Website

We would like to inform you that Katare Toyama has decided to retire as Director of Ishizaki.
In addition, we will also inform you that the current head coach, Michiharu Odagiri, will be appointed as the successor manager.

About the retirement of Director Ishizaki

We would like to make the following important announcements to all of you who support our company and club.

Regarding Mr Nobuhiro Ishizaki, who has been responsible for us as a manager since last season, we would like to inform you that we have decided to step down after the 25th league match against Azul Claro Numazu, which took place the other day. At the same time, we would like to inform you that the current head coach, Michiharu Odagiri, will succeed Mr Ishizaki.

This personnel change cannot be ignored at all in light of the “return to J2” that the company has set as a company. Also, the issues (details withheld) seen in football content have not improved significantly since last year. And since the positions and the number of competition games have reached the limit for returning to J2, we decided to change the manager.

On the other hand, he was able to fight physically for 90 minutes, which did not necessarily lead to a result, but his achievement of building a solid style will never fade, and I would like to express my great thanks and respect to him. increase.

When choosing my successor, I took the following into account.
・ It is difficult to say, but the number of coaches who can participate in the J3 category is limited, including in terms of compensation.
・ For a team that has mold that has been completed to some extent, the good thing is that it has a prescription to completely cure the problem lesion while continuing.
・ Know the strengths and weaknesses of the current players, and be appointed and directed accordingly.
・ Have the flexibility to choose strategies and tactics according to scouting the other team.
・ In terms of fighting style, training content, strength, and daily management, the direction of the strengthening department is the same.
・ Be a motivator who is good at cultivating a rebound mindset.

Based on the above, I decided to go with the current head coach, Mr. Odagiri.

As a director candidate from his hometown, Toyama, Mr. Odagiri should be appointed after sufficient training. However, despite his lack of experience as a manager, I would like to respect his love for the club as much as possible, as he shows his determination to raise chestnuts in the fire. In that case, regardless of the outcome, I will be responsible for appointing him.

Finally, Mr Ishizaki, thank you very much for coaching the team so far. And for the remaining 9 games of the 1/3 season, let’s go through with coach Odagiri, the team / forward, fans and supporters as one and overcome with challenge and cover.
