MBC reported on the name and corruption of the private kindergarten discovered three years ago in an audit that the government did not disclose.

Since then, the system has been changed to disclose the audit details of the corrupt kindergarten.

As a result of an audit of the entire private kindergarten by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, more than 5,000 cases were discovered and published.

The fact that he received 24 million won in three months was discovered.

“You’re the full-time director, but there are some mistakes in the process of doing things, so I returned them all after being grateful.”

For two years from 2016, 230 million won, which had to be handled as a kindergarten account, was transferred to the founder’s personal account and used to pay association fees and vehicle negligence.

The system was improved so that these audits, which parents could not know, were disclosed in October 2018 when MBC reported on the list of corrupt kindergartens.

As a result of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education’s audit of 915 private kindergartens in the province over the past six years, a whopping 5,500 cases were found, and 27 of them were prosecuted by the investigation agency for the severe degree of slander.

384 people involved, including the director, were disciplined, and 101 cases were severe.

21 kindergartens that refused to be audited were also subject to investigation.

“There are six kindergartens (out of 21 that have been requested for investigation) that have refused to be audited so far, and we plan to take strict measures based on the zero tolerance principle.”

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has returned 51.1 billion won in the kindergarten account, which was found to have been used against its purpose, from the kindergarten.
