The LG Twins ran for two straight wins in the home room amidst pitchers’ fierce battles.
LG won 2-0 in the 11th game of the season against the Hanwha Eagles of the 2021 KBO League held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on the 10th.
LG’s starting pitcher Lee Min-ho (20) led the team to victory. Lee Min-ho earned 7 wins in the season with a perfect pitch of 7 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 8 strikeouts and no runs. He continued his upward trend with a starting win in three games in a row.
Seungjo Pil also did his part. Jung Woo-young (22) and Ko Woo-seok (23) silenced Hanwha’s pursuit in the 8th and 9th episodes, respectively. Jung Woo-young struck out Choi Jae-hoon (32) from Hanwha and did not allow a run in the crisis with two runs full in the early 8th inning.
After the game, LG coach Ryu Ji-hyeon (50) praised Lee, saying, “Lee Min-ho threw the most perfect pitch this season. did not spare
He also added, “I worked well with catcher Yoo Gangnam,” he added.
